Mom
My Mother, born in a small town in Arkansas to a farmer and his wife as Lucille Beck. She out lived three brothers, one
sister, and her parents. Living at the present is one brother and one sister. Mother biggest jobs were wife of
all most 50 years, mother of four daughters, and home maker since she was about 19 years old. Mother did go to work
a couple of weeks after I went to work at the Holiday Inn in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She also went on to work at Prescott
Manufactory in Prescott Arkansas. Her last public job I think she work at was Crotty Gasket Plant also in Prescott,
Arkansas. Mother didn't finish school, not sure which grade she drop out of. I have a picture of the building
where she once attend grade school at located by the Beirne, Arkansas Saw-Mill. In fact the building has been and still the
office of the Beirne's Saw-Mill.

My Three Sisters and Me.
Edna is a mother of three and grandmother of two. Edna now work at Wal-Mart in Texarkana,
Texas. Shelia and Nancy both got married right after they graduated from high school. Shelia is the mother of
two daughter, and grandmother of 5 1/2 children. She now working at Home Health as a visiting nurse. Nancy
is the mother of two and now a Manager of McDonald.
I grauduated May 24, 1974 on a Sunday after I started to work the day before at a Holiday Inn in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
Before I got married, I had work at Holiday Inn, Prescott Manufactory (hemming pj bottom), and Crotty Gasket Plant (stripping
car gaskets). I am a mother of three and looking forward for my first grandbaby to be born some time this month.

Daddy and Mother
My Dad, Clyde Melvin Roach, was born to a farmer and his wife. His mother was a preacher's daughter. When
Daddy was 9 and 10 years old, his parents died leaving his an ophan. His mother died first, and then 10 or 11 months
later his dad died. His different brothers and sisters took him in until they one of them got in a fight over him with
their mates, and then he moved on to another brother or sister. He went to work first time at a saw-mill when he
was 13 or 15 years old. Not sure which age is correct. Saw-Mill s and Plywood Plants are the only jobs that I can remember
Daddy ever working at. Daddy retired abt. 62 years old from the Plywood Plants outside of Gurdon Arkansas. My
Dad past away Feburary 27, 1997 with a heart disease at Hot Springs Arkansas Hospital. Daddy left his four children
the knowledge of where to go to for help in our life which is our Heavenly Father. Daddy did not only taught his daughters
how to live a Christian life but he lived what he taught daily at the best of his ability. Clyde Melvin Roach, my Dad,
now rest in peace in Heaven with his Maker.

My Children
Regina, my oldest daughter, graduated 1999 in Emitt, Arkansas High School. Katie graduated 2002 in Gurdon Arkansas High
School. Tim graduated Grants NM High School in 2004 after we moved to New Mexico. Katie got married July 2003 in Arkadelphia
Arkansas and when we moved to New Mexico, she stay in Arkansas with her husband.
Regina enrolled in NMSU at Grants NM about 2004. She is working for her degree in Teaching. Fall 2005 Tim and I
both enrolled in NMSU. Tim is going for his film degree. I am going for my Web Master Degree.
